"Azpetrol" celebrates its 27th anniversary!

Today Azpetrol, which has the largest gas fuelling network in Azerbaijan, celebrates its 27th anniversary. The company has made great progress in recent years, increasing the number of petrol stations to 104. Strengthening the Azpetrol brand and expanding its geography to Karabakh is one of the short-term priorities of the company's strategic development plan. Azpetrol's modular petrol stations are already operating in Zangilan, Hadrut, Sugovushan, Khankendi, Fizuli and Shusha. By doing so, the company is contributing to the issue of employment, which is part of the "Great Return" plan for Karabakh. It should be noted that the establishment, development and successful activity of Azpetrol is a natural result of signing the "Contract of the Century" in 1994, which became possible as a result of the work done by the great leader Heydar Aliyev in the field of development of economy and entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan and gave impetus to the development of the oil strategy of the republic. The objective of the new oil strategy, which continues to be implemented under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, is a roadmap of Azpetrol's activity directions. The first petrol station of Azpetrol Company - "Spartak" - was opened on 15 July, 1997, at: 1013 Moskow Avenue, Nasimi district, Baku city. At present the company has a total of 104 gas fuelling stations in most economic zones of our country, 1 liquefied natural gas (propane-butane) fuelling station, which meets the most modern standards in the country, serving passenger transportation on public transport, 1 liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal, an oil depot for storage of fuel products, a depot for motor vehicles, 119 units of fuel transfer vehicles to ensure uninterrupted transportation of fuel to the fuel depot, and 119 units of fuel transfer vehicles. There are 4 LNG fuelling stations, 4 LPG fuelling stations and 20 electric vehicle charging stations, 8 motels, as well as catering facilities at most of the various service points. "Azpetrol" is among the largest employers in Azerbaijan and currently employs more than 3400 employees. Azpetrol - Towards continuous development!
